Community Development Project

• Improve access to inclusive and quality education for vulnerable children.

Provide educational materials and learning support; strengthen School Management Committees (SMCs) and Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs); establish child clubs and promote child participation; conduct awareness programmes on child protection, health, nutrition, hygiene, menstrual hygiene management, and positive parenting; facilitate livelihood and skills development initiatives for youth and families; organize environmental education, tree 10 plantation, waste management, climate awareness, and disaster preparedness activities; and build the capacity of teachers, parents, community volunteers, and local institutions through training, awareness campaigns, and community mobilization.

The project directly supports more than 700 children enrolled in government schools across the six Community Development Projects. Indirect beneficiaries include parents and caregivers, teachers, School Management Committees (SMCs), Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs), youth, women, vulnerable households, community-based organizations, and local government institutions.

• Rayachoty CDP – Andhra Pradesh

Implemented by Good Neighbors Bharat in partnership with EFICOR, and in collaboration with schools, School Management Committees (SMCs), Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs), local government departments, community-based organizations, health facilities, and local communities.
