People Build Inclusive and Democratic Communities

The social structure of a community has a profound effect on one’s life. The social structure leaves people in poverty is unjust. Social inequality and oppression are neither right nor natural. Likewise, poverty made from those is not natural. Every human being has an inalienable dignity and rights including the right to pursue his life according his free will. A world Good Neighbors wants to build is a place without hunger. The hunger free world cannot be built unless discrimination and deprivation are abolished. To this end, we will support people to eliminate discrimination and exclusion in communities and strengthen the solidarity.

Our Focus on Community Solidarity

Promoting inclusiveness and non-discrimination in communities

We support people’s own initiatives in improving awareness of the need for inclusivity and non-discrimination. In this regard, we work with community-based organizations to ensure decision-making is more democratic and inclusive.

Assisting people’s efforts for community solidarity building

Promoting dialogue and activities among people helps build community solidarity. Hence, we focus on sharing information and engaging in discussions within the community which in turn enables all to participate in resolving issues in their community. Furthermore, supporting the community’s traditional and modern initiatives for community work has been our priority.
