Play for Change: Sports for Development Initiat

Project Overview

Play for Change is an integrated Sports for Development (S4D) initiative that harnesses the power of sport, play, and recreation to promote the holistic development of children and young people. The project creates safe, inclusive, and engaging spaces where children and youth develop life skills, leadership, confidence, teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles while strengthening education, child protection, health, gender equality, and social inclusion. Through structured sports programmes and play-based learning, the initiative empowers children and young people to become active citizens, positive role models, and future leaders. Working in partnership with schools, communities, sports organizations, and government institutions, Play for Change uses sport as a catalyst for individual growth and sustainable community development.
